While I was bored sitting on an airplane yesterday, I started to do some sketching. So I got thinking about what matters to me (The founder of rentoid.com) and why I’m doing this rentoid thing.

Below is some of the stuff that popped into me head. It’s how I feel, and I wear my heart on my sleeve, so here it is:

Nelly sang about it, and now Melbourne and most parts of Australia are experiencing it.

The weather is forecast to be like 40+ degrees c for the entire week. So if you’re feeling the heat then maybe you should check out the air conditioners we have for rent on rentoid like these.

If you’re lucky enough to have a pool or a cool house, it’s probably a good time to list that old school cooler to help out a fellow rentoid member.

Seriously, sounds dodgy, but it is simple items sitting on the rentoid wanted list right now! They include quite an amount of items which you might have sitting there.

Including but not limited to: A portable DVD player for $35 a week, A motorbike trailer for $80 a week, A treadmill for $80 a month, A backyard in Melbourne for $50 for one day, and an embroidery sewing machine for $30 a week.

Here’s an email we received at rentoid from a business member.
To the Rentoid Team,

Could you please  remove our hire business and hire items from your website. Unfortunately this arrangement does not work for us at present. We a received a couple of requests over the holiday period which we could not fulfill. As these customers are not directed to our website they were not aware that we closed for 2 weeks. Our website stated this on the home page.

We’re not perfect and neither is our system - what we can promise is to do the right thing and continually try and improve everything we do.

We don’t need to say anything about the recent inauguration on the new US president Barrack Obama, as we are sure you’ve all seen it and heard it.

We will say this: He is a very inspiring person, and what that country needs right now is leadership which will regain the global respect it once had.

Good luck Obama, congratulations USA and we hope it is the start of a safe, and proposerous period for your country.

Here’s a list of things that you never actually thought about renting out. of which you probably have most, or certainly have some, which are sitting there gathering dust…. but should be on rentoid earning you cash!

1. Your Car - Yes your car. Insure it, and rent it the days you don’t need it - an easy $50
2. Your Backyard - Yes your backyard - for parties, backpackers camping, anything!
3. Your Garage - Great storage space for people who need it and live in apartments. An Easy $50 a month!
4. Your Spare room - First rent out the stuff in it, then rent our the space to a lodger. Yep.
5. Your Driveway - especially if you live inner city and people could use it on work days - yes, the days your car is at work!
6. Your Car Space - If you have a work car space in the city - rent it out on weekends for a lazy $5.
7. Your Labour - Any skills you have you can rent on rentoid. Whatever you do - put yourself up for rent for a day.
8. Your Trailer - Yes the trailer you use like 3 times a year. These are one of our most requested items and we simple never have enough of them to serve the demand. Get it on rentoid
9. Your Caravan - Yep, the one on the front lawn waiting for the summer holidays. Other people need these in as well for their winter trip. Rent it to them
10. Your Holiday house - If you’re lucky enough to ahve one, you’re probably smart enough to know you should be making money out of it. rent it here on rentoid.

The beauty of rentoid is that - It’ free to list and you never pay us unless you make some money first. From where we sit it’s a pretty good deal!

Thought we’d let you know we have changed the log in details on rentoid recently.

We did this to make the process a bit simpler, as it can be a real pain trying to remember all your usernames from various websites and accounts.

Turns out that rentoid.com is really the palce to rent anything!

Toyota have just release plans for a new electric vehicle which is uber cute and can be seen below.

It’s only a little car which wont have a huge range, but it will be fully electric. You can read more here.

What we like about it is that it’s the same philosophy as rentoid. We are all about finding a better way of doing things. Using technology to have a positive impact on peoples lives and the environment. Kudos Toyota.
